Lot 044 - Antique Cast Iron Eagle Fence Post Finial With Green Paint, J. I. Case Threshing Machine Co. Advertising, Early 20th Century, 9-7/8" HAntique early 20th century cast iron fence post finial featuring an eagle standing atop a globe marked Case, produced as advertising for the J. I. Case Threshing Machine Co. Retains traces of old green paint. Light wear and surface oxidation consistent with age and outdoor use. It appears that the eagle was reattached to the finial with crude welds after old damage.
